Mesorah Montessori at a Glance
About our School
Established in 2002 by Mrs. Zeldy Walden, Mesorah Montessori School has a commitment to both the Montessori Method and our original Mesorah that allows each and every child to understand his/her unique “way". At Mesorah Montessori School Limudei Kodesh is incorporated into almost every aspect of our lessons and activities. In combination with the Montessori Method of teaching: Tefilah, Mitzvos, Midos, Parsha, and Yomim Tovim are enjoyed on a daily basis. Our classrooms operate on the principal of freedom within limits. Our goal is to instill self-discipline, and so there are only a few simple rules based on Kavod Habrios. Children are free to work at their own pace with materials they have chosen, either alone or with others. The Guide (teacher) relies on her observations of the children to determine which new activities and materials she may introduce to an individual child or small group.
Free the child's potential, and you will transform him into the world. _Dr. Montessori
חֲנֹךְ לַנַּעַר עַל פִּי דַרְכּוֹ גַּם כִּי יַזְקִין לֹא יָסוּר מִמֶּנָּה
Educate each child according to his way; even when he grows old,
he will not depart from it.
Mesorah Montessori School has an authentic commitment to both the Montessori Method and our original Mesorah that allows each and every child to understand his/her unique “way". We combine a Torah education and the Montessori teaching method to create a unique environment in which children can grow to their full academic and spiritual potential. Mesorah Montessori addresses the needs of the whole child: religious, social, emotional, physical and intellectual. It is our belief that we must provide children with opportunities to deepen their love of learning and strengthen their commitment to Torah values.
